Refurbishment of this large orangery set in an old formal red brick enclosed garden needed to take into consideration the surrounding brick and stonework. The paint colour needed to be sensitive to conservation and the surrounding area so after some initial tests, a Farrow & Ball  heritage colour ‘ball Green’ was chosen.

New double glazed glass panels were fitted and the external colonnades were restored to full glory with a carefully matched mixture of white cement and yellow sand.  The windows were painted and a full refurbishment of the inside was then undertaken, topped off with the Farrow & Ball colour ‘railings’. The whole family now, once again, enjoy this beautiful building.
